Windswept gums

I wasn’t the only one held up in the Goulburn traffic. Yesterday one mate told me he’d blown two tickets when he missed Wayne Shorter. He’d left at 3pm, only 30 minutes after us, but he wasn’t as lucky as we were. Some other friends, Sue and Len, went to the Day on the Green event in Bowral. They left in the morning and saw the overturned car and truck that caused all the mayhem. This Day on the Green was a women’s jazz event, with Katie Noonan and the Captains, Melody Gardot, Madeleine Peyroux and Diana Krall. I read a mixed review in the paper, but Sue enjoyed it well enough and they are capable singers. Here’s Sue’s report:

Thanks for the link Eric. BTW, which paper did you read a review in? I'd love to see it...

Sue, Pretty sure it's Canberra Times, but perhaps Sydney Morning Herald. Eric

Thanks Eric, I don't think it was CT, at least I can't find it - and in my experience they tend to take days to bring reviews out (or do you not find that?)

BTW Your blog doesn't have the option for commenters to be notified of further comments? Is that not possible on Blogger? I get rather confused between the different types of blogs I go to.
