It’s been a quiet week, but I caught Victor Rufus, Alec Coulson and Sam McNair at Manuka as I walked by. Nice to see some jazz on the streets. Standards done with restaurant gentleness but a few solos all round. We talked of sousaphones. Obviously the coming thing. Victor Rufus (guitar), Alec Coulson (bass) and Sam McNair (drums).
