This was fun. A session recording at ANUSOM that ended up in the recording studio, although I wasn't on the massive Neve desk. But a decent Yamaha piano and comfy space and Rhodes and more gear to inspire in the background, even if not in use. We were there to revisit a track by Jessica on trom with accompaniment from Hilda. It sounded different here, and it was different, recording in a studio instead of for listening ears. It's a different world from a a live recording, both more and less tense. But my part was easy so I could just enjoy it. Nice and thanks.
Jessica Hall (trombone) with accompaniment of Hilda Visser Scott (piano) recorded Alexandre Guilmant Morceau symphonique op.88 for trombone and piano in the recording studio at the ANU School of Music.
